How Hobart’s Burger Haus Became a Crowd Favourite

With a wide range of options, including soy-free, dairy-free, and vegan choices, Burger Haus strives to cater to many different dietary needs. From children's meals to gluten-free and Halal choices, their extensive menu has something to satisfy everyone. "We take pride in offering a menu that truly has something for everyone," Shane explains. 

At Burger Haus, the menu is a celebration of Tasmania's local produce. Shane proudly explains, "We source all the best local Tasmanian ingredients to create our burgers. Our beef, steak, lamb, and salmon are 100% Tasmanian, and our chicken breast is sourced from Australian farmed free-range chicken. We take great care in ensuring that our vegetarian patties are made in-house using the freshest ingredients."

One new ingredient that Burger Haus has incorporated into their menu is the Tip Top Brioche Style Bun. "When it comes to our buns, we chose the Tip Top Brioche Bun for several reasons," Shane reveals. "Firstly, its consistency is perfect for our burgers. It holds together beautifully, even with all the sauces we pile on. Secondly, the taste, it adds a touch of sweetness that complements the savoury flavours of our burgers."

Shane praises the strong partnership between Burger Haus and Tip Top Foodservice, along with their wholesaler Superior. "The collaboration with Tip Top Foodservice has been easy, especially Carol (State Account Manager) who has been very accommodating," Shane shares. "They understand our needs and ensure a smooth supply of the Tip Top Brioche Style Buns. It's a partnership that allows us to consistently deliver value to our customers."

At Burger Haus, fostering relationships is paramount, and Shane takes immense pride in the business’s culture. “Honestly, our team is an amazing bunch of people. Its great working with each and every team member. They have made what is typically a stressful environment into such a fun environment.”
