Place chicken on a char grill and cook for 12-15 minutes until thoroughly cooked through.
To assemble the burger first spread the kewpie on the base, add tomato, both cabbages, pickled carrot and chicken. Generously pour the lemon sauce over the chicken, sprinkle sesame seeds and chilli, and then place the lid on top. Serve immediately for best results.
Lemon Sauce
Ingredients
1 tsp soy sauce
¼ cup chicken stock
4 tbsp sugar
2 tsp lemon juice
¼ tsp lemon zest
1 tsp vegetable oil
1 clove garlic
2 tsp corn flour (dissolved in 2 T water)
Method
In a small saucepan add all the lemon sauce ingredients and cook, stirring until thickened with a sticky consistency. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
