Heat non-stick frying pan to med-high heat, fryer to 180 degrees.
Form mince beef patty, add to heated frying pan, season with salt and pepper.
Cook evenly on both sides until cooked through. Season again when turned over.
Add bacon to pan and cook on both sides until crispy and golden. Remove from pan and leave to drain on a lined plate.
While pan is still hot, toast buttered potato bun, inside down, until lightly browned.
Add Tater Tots to the fryer and cook until golden brown and crispy. Leave to drain in the basket. Once drained toss in a stainless-steel bowl with crushed Doritos and salt.
Top base of potato bun with ketchup and lettuce, add patty, top with Tater Tots, cheese, warm bacon and tomato. On the lid spread ketchup, add onions and pickles and then place on the burger. Serve immediately for best results.
