1 rasher middle bacon (hickory smoked if available)
50g beef pattie
50g pork mince
1 butter lettuce leaf
1 tbsp tomato kasaundi
1 slice American jack cheese
Method
Heat non-stick frying pan to high heat.
Combine beef and pork to form one pattie, add to heated frying pan, season with salt and pepper. Cook evenly on both sides until caramelised on the outside (season again when turned over).
Remove, place cheese slice on top to soften and set aside.
Turn heat to med-high. Grill bacon and hash brown until both are crispy on both sides. Remove then fry egg until whites are cooked, leave runny yolk
In the hot pan grill buttered side of muffin until golden.
Lay base of muffin on a serving plate then spread kasaundi. Add lettuce, pattie, bacon, hash brown, tomato, egg and onions. Spread ranch on inside of the muffin lid and place lid on ‘burger’ to complete.
