Tip Top Foodservice has expanded its range of authentic sourdough breads to include a sliced Sourdough Mixed Grains loaf, perfect for cafes. The hand-moulded loaf, made from a sourdough culture created over 10 years ago, is pre-sliced and ideal for cafes looking for quality and convenience.
The Speedibake Sliced Sourdough Mixed Grains Café Loaf joins an existing range of authentic sourdoughs that are proving popular around the country. The range uses the highest quality ingredients, and all loaves are fermented for 24 hours before being baked.
The new loaf has a light, airy texture and slightly darker crumb (with the addition of rye flour) to accentuate the grains, which is often popular with diners who are looking for healthier, or more wholesome options.
Australians are certainly more interested in sourdough, after many people were making their own during lockdowns in 2020. But before COVID-19, online searches for the term were already increasing every year for the past five years, showing that cafes without the popular bread may be missing out. The new Speedibake Sliced Sourdough Mixed Grains Café Loaf is available nationally through foodservice distributors and comes in small cartons so it can be easily added to your existing order. The loaves are also delivered frozen and have a 12-month frozen shelf life so cafes can thaw or toast and serve for that just baked aroma.
